Been a while

Well, I am back at it after taking some time to get everything together.  I start back into it tomorrow morning.  My alarm clock is set, the PS3 remote is charging and we shall see how much I can do.  Not going to do any sort of supplements just taking daily vitamins and really watching what I eat.  Going back to no soda's.  I won't stop my coffee but will start drinking more water.

Will update tomorrow and see how it goes!

2nd Mini Goal Met!!

I am happy to announce that I am finally out of the 180's!!  I have lost a total of 15 lbs!!!  At 20lbs lost I will do some more pictures, ahh hell I may get a hair up my ass and do some before then.  I am so proud of myself, just need to keep going!  Hope every one who is reading this has a wonderful day!

Almost time

It is almost that time for measurements!  8 more days and I will see how many inches I have lost.  Haven't been sticking to a "regular" workout regime, but I have been very active, whether is has been swimming with the kids or playing at the park with them.  I will take some updated pictures with this weigh in/measurement day.  Hopefully I will be able to see a difference from when I started this.

Tried something new for breakfast, I made banana pancakes.  I personally did not care for them, neither did Booger, he had a bite or two then was done, so that was a no go.  Oh well!

I am off for the day, might go for a walk then off to go pick up Boo, she had her first stay over and grandma and grandpa's house!  Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend!  Happy 4th everyone!

Bad Food Day

I had a crappy eating day yesterday, from mac and cheese to pizza and strawberry shortcake to top it all off.  Wow I can't believe how much it all adds up.  Oh not to mention some cherry coke with the popcorn.  Oh well I know we all have those days, good thing is I only did 2 little pieces of pizza and not a whole lot of mac and cheese.  Today is a new day to start again.  Going to start off with a healthy breakfast and go from there.  I just wish it was nice out, but it is rainy, windy and cold.  Oh well, might see if I can find somebody to watch my munchkins for a couple hrs a day so I can hit the gym up.  Hope everyone has a great day!!

HRM

So since we have received our house hold goods, I had found my Heart rate monitor, but it has since gone MIA...grrrrr.  So now I am debating on ordering a new one, (I know as soon as I do I will find my other one).

I have decided I am only going to do measurements once a month instead of weekly.  Still debating on if I want to weigh myself weekly or monthly, not sure yet.

I do know next week I am going to hopefully go get the kids a wagon (one with seat belts so my son doesn't try to fall out) and start taking them on walks at least twice a day.  On top of that do my zumba!  Hope everyone has a wonderful productive day!

So to add to this instead of making a new entry.  Did about a total of 30 min of Zumba.  It is going to take a couple of days to get back into the swing of things.  For my recovery drink I tried something different, but it tastes like it is missing something.

What I did was a scoop of french vanilla whey protein, added 4 strawberries and 1 cup of coconut milk.  blended together and drink.   I think I need to get some ice.  I have been to the store 3 times this week and each and every time I forget!

Wow!

Ok, so I think my scale lied to me yesterday, because today it says 182!!!!  Holy moly batman, I think I might be losing a lot of the water weight.  Not to mention I am more active here, granted I have not been doing a whole lot of zumba, but between chasing kids and dogs, that in itself is a workout.  Now for the measurements.  I went down in everything except for my hips.  I am having some issues with my right hip, not sure if it is a little swollen or what, but am happy with the rest.

Impressed!!

Wow so I can now say I am officially out of the 190's!!!!!  I weighed myself as promised this morning and am at 187!!  Now just need to find measuring tape...hmmmm that is a workout all on its own.  Just might run up to store and get another one.  Since it is once again another crappy and rainy day, going to do me a zumba during nap time!  Going to go check laundry! Getting Settled In

I know it has been forever since I have done an update.  We finally got moved out of Alaska, and the house is for the most part unpacked.  Still trying to find my PS3 zumba, grrrrr.  Good news is I have my zumba DVD's going to get started on those tomorrow.  I honestly have no idea what I weigh and to tell you the truth am a little scared to jump on the scale.  Alas I will do measurements and weigh myself tomorrow.

20 Days left

Wow, so I have 20 days left to lose at least 5lbs.  I would love to lose at least 10 but I don't think that is going to happen.   I am going to bust my butt and workout like crazy and eat good.  I am giving myself 1cheat day in the next 20 days.

I so love my hubby.  He has made out a menu for me to follow, today is going great.  I actually got up early for me anyway!  Just waiting on my PS3 remote to recharge so I can do my next round of zumba!  I will be ordering the actual Zumba fitness DVD's just in case this happens again, so I don't have to sit around and wait for the remote to charge up.  Need to call and make sure it will be here before I move!

I feel like I am rambling today.  I will post pics and measurements tomorrow morning!  Have a great day everyone!

What a week

I had such a crazy last week.  My vertigo hit me big time.  Thank goodness I have meds I take for it.  So now that I am feeling much better I am back on track.  I have decided to say screw it to the weight, the scale is just pissing me off.  I can tell I am losing inches everywhere.  Unfortunately my measurements didn't go down at all this past week, but they didn't go up either.  For that I am grateful.  So not going to bother re-posting my measurements since they didn't change.

I have started taking Lipo6x for a little bit of help.  I am still working out doing Zumba and the 30 day shred. Also eating right.  Just for the record I love ordering off of bodybuilding.com.  Their customer service kicks ass.

Progress!

So I have finally made progress!  I lost 2.2 lbs and am now at 191.8!!  Today was Day 4 of the Shred and feeling good.  At noon I will do my zumba.

I got a lot accomplished this weekend.  I cleaned up the entire upstairs this weekend, and also spring cleaned the kitchen including the stove!  It looks brand new.

So I placed an order to Bodybuilding.com, for some supplements just to kind of help me.  I ordered the Lipo6x, some whey protein, and some CLM, I also got some multi vitamins to start taking.  One of the other things I got was for night time, but still helps get rid of the fat.

Trying something new

So for a year I have been at 193 give or take a few pounds.  In the past couple of months that I have been really working out and eating right, my weight refuses to go down.  I have been talking to my hubby and we have decided for me to try Lipo 6 hers.  Not doing the ultimate, that is a little to harsh.  Going to give this a try and see if it starts helping.

Just waiting for the kids to wake up so we can go to GNC and get that and a multivitamin.  I have done great, no soda, or junk food at all this week.  Not even going to give myself a cheat day this week.  I will give myself one next week though.

Probably won't post to much this weekend.  Going to be packing, cleaning and looking for my Dad's plane ticket.  It is amazing at how the prices jump around so much.  Hoping to catch a break on the ticket!  I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

New Food

So last night for dinner I did not do the chicken stir fry, instead I made chicken fried in a little bit of grape seed oil, added minced garlic to it.  Once it was done or close to it, I added it to the seasoning pack of parmesan couscous, water and 2tbl of white cooking wine.  It turned out ok, not the best (it was a recipe on the back of the couscous.

For lunch today I had one of those lemon pepper tuna packs, mixed a little bit of miracle whip in it and threw it on a whole wheat tortilla.  It was yummy.

This was day 4 of the 30 day shred, just for the record I hate jumping jacks!  This is also day 4 of doing 50 min of zumba in a row.  I think this weekend I am taking a break from the zumba, but sticking with the 30 day shred.

I think tonight is definitely a chicken stir fry kind of night!  Going to kick back for a little bit and work on a blanket!

Wild Hair

Last night I got a wild hair up my butt and did a 50 min zumba on the PS3.  So total yesterday I did a total workout of 90 min!  Let's just say I am feeling it this morning, but I did get up and do day 2 of the 30 day shred with my weights!  During nap time I will do another 50 min zumba workout.  I just feel better when I workout.  I can't wait to see next weeks results!

It is lunch time for the kiddos so I need to get off of here and make them lunch, then after lunch it is Zumba time!  If anybody decides to join my fitness pal leave a comment on here and I will message you my screen name.  Hope everyone has a great and productive day!

Hmm just need to think of something for me for lunch.  I think I will go with a Luna Bar and some water.  For dinner going to go get some veggies and I think I am going to do chicken stir fry.  Ok I am really going to stop writing and go make lunch!

Day 1 of the 30 Day shred with weights.

Let's just say my arms feel like jello.  Wow, that hurt!  It is a great hurt though.  I am a little disappointed in my measurements this week again, my weight is back down to 194, which is better than 196 which is what it was last week.  Today during nap time I am going to do a 25 min expert level on my zumba.

I did get a lot accomplished this weekend with the move coming up.  I took out 7 huge trash bags full of trash and cleaned off the table, on top of the dog crates and the computer desk area!

So Nice out!

It is so beautiful outside, that I would love to take the dogs and kids for a walk, but there are way to many moose out.  Not worth risking us or the dogs getting hurt.  Saw a moose calf cross the road a couple of houses away.  I know I am straying from the exercise part right now, just wanted to share.

Yesterday went into Kohls and found the shoes I was going to get at Sports Authority for almost 15 dollars cheaper, can we say Score!  My hubby got me hooked on Asics, I LOVE those shoes!

I am going to be bad and not do a whole lot of working out this weekend.  I did do some walking yesterday, so this weekend wasn't a total bust.  Until Monday morning with new pics and measurement updates, have a great weekend!

Bad Day

I am just having an all around bad afternoon.  It started out crappy.  Weighed myself and I have gained 6 effin pounds.  So not happy.  I do log everything I eat on My Fitness Pal.  Just not sure what else to do.  I do know I need to cut out Starbucks,  I do that once a week if not at all.

I did day 2 of the 30 day shred.  Yes day 2 was easier than day 1.  I did some walking but OMG I am hurting so bad, I did not do  Zumba today.  I have that on the schedule for tomorrow.  Just to kind of give me muscles a little down time.  Also going to go get some 3lb weights to go with the 30 day shred.  I think when I am done with the shred, I might get the Turbo Jam dvd and alternate that with the zumba, just for some different workouts.  After I conquer turbo Jam I am thinking of moving up to the P90X or Insanity, but that is a couple of months down the road.  I hope I am able to wear a swim suit this summer with out wearing shorts or a t-shirt to cover up the fat.

Going to keep pressing on.  Even though I just want to throw in the towel, I know I can't.  I am going to go to GNC tomorrow and see if there is anything that might be able to help me jump start this.  For me the Total Lean did absolutely nothing for me.  It worked great for the first 7 days and after that nada.

Well going to lay kids down for bed, then I am going to lay down and see what I have DVR'd, and just kind of relax a little bit.  Need to get up early so I can do day 3 of the shred and then off to get dog food and some groceries.  I also get to buy our one way tickets out of here! Woop Woop!

Unhappy

I am not very happy with this weeks results.  So I get my butt back in gear, is what I do. Today I did Day 1 of the 30 day shred, and it totally kicked my butt.  In about 2 hours I will do a 50 min Zumba for some more cardio.  Need to lose what I have gained back.  I know I can do it.  Now for the measurements for the week.

The only thing that continues to go down is my thighs, which is awsome!  Not complaining there.  I only have 47 days till I get on an airplane out of here, and I want to fit comfortable in the seat!  Now on to the pics of the week:

busy busy

This has been a busy weekend.  Today I packed up my bedroom, at least what I am not using.  Haven't been eating completely healthy but not totally blowing it either.  My weight doesn't seem to be going down, but we will see on the measurements on Mon.  I think on Monday I am going to incorporate the 30 day shred by Jillian Michaels into my routine.  I will do that for 30 days straight (Lord give me the strength!) and every other day I will do Zumba.  Just to kind of give my body a different workout.

Time change weekend. The day's are really going to start flying by.  Only 49 more days until we leave here.  I am so looking forward to it.  Being back by family until my hubby comes back home.  I miss him so much.  I am very blessed to have him support me on this journey of weight loss.  I know you are reading this, and wanted to tell you I love you very much!

Week 4

So I didn't lose a whole lot of inches or anything this past week but boy can I sure see a difference from when I first started this journey.  My weight is not changing which is very frustrating but I am definitaly slimming down.  I walked about 2 miles or more yesterday pushing my kids around.  We went to the mall, then went to Sams Club and walked that strip.  I was bad and bought a bottle of Moscato, but I only have a little glass a night.  I will take a picture of it tonight, it is maybe 6 oz at the most.

On other news I finally found a sippy cup Booger will drink out of.  Of course it is one of the most expensive ones out there, go figure.

Wow!

For the record, yesterday was a kick ass day!  I cleaned, vacuumed and mopped the entire house.  Did a 50 minute Zumba workout, (used my new polar FT40 HRM) and burned 481 calories.  Then went and walked for about 45 min.  Ate great all day too!  Just out of curiosities sake I weighed myself this morning and was down to 191!!!  I lost 2 lbs last week.  I am so proud of myself.  Yes I understand there will be times when my weight will go up and down, but I am burning fat and adding muscle.

Looking forward to tomorrows measurements!  I am off to do my Zumba workout, make the kids lunch, nap for them, then we are going to go out walking.  Hope everyone has a great day!

Week 3

Well this weekend was not a good one, no I didn't go out and eat a bunch of junk, I did have Chinese and a piece of boston creme cake.  Also did not do Zumba at all this weekend or yesterday.  Feeling kind of blahhh, but I did do a lot of walking and cleaning so that makes up a little bit for missing zumba.  While I didn't make my weight goal for the end of the month I did lose a pant size!  I am going to go to old navy and look at the clearance section for the next size down to shrink into.  I don't feel bad for spending 8 dollars on a pair of jeans to shrink into then out of.  Now for the exciting part the measurements for the week and the pictures!

Getting easier

Today was day 2 of doing the 45 min zumba, which turns into 50.  Day 1 was a struggle to get through to the end.  I managed to finish and wanted to pass out at the end.  Today was a whole heck of a lot easier, when the cool down came on, I didn't want to quit.  I finished the cool down anyway.  I feel amazing that I made it all the way through and wanted to do more.

Well you would be proud of me.  For lunch I took Boo to McDonalds to get her a happy meal for being good this week, and I didn't order anything for myself, not even a sweet tea!  Instead I came home and made a salad, that way I could control what goes in it!  Getting ready to make myself a muscle milk shake to help me out!

Looking forward to Monday so I can measure and weigh myself to see my progress.  Maybe try my jeans on and see how they look!

Zumba Day!

Slept really good last night!  Then again I took a tylenol pm, due to my fall on the ice the other day!  Got up and made breakfast for boo and booger, talked to the hubby for a little bit.  Motivation finally set in after I took my pictures for the week.  Can we say eeek!  I don't want to post them but I am going to, just so I can see how I don't want to look like!

Zumba went great this morning, did a fun 25 minutes worth of it, and smiled while doing it.

Going to go do some walking today.  Taking the kids to the pet store, and going to get Boo a beta fish, try to help her get over her fear of fish.

Happy!!

While last week wasn't the greatest, my measurments are awsome!!  I didn't really lose any weight, but as long as I am losing inches, that is all that matters!

I lost almost 2 inches in just my thighs (my problem areas.. :)  I was so happy to see that this morning!  I forgot to take a picture before I ate anything, so I will do that tomorrow morning.  Thinking about going and getting the biggest loser challenge for the WII, wish they had it for the PS3 but they don't.  Alternate that and zumba for a variety in my workout.  Well off to finish up cleaning, then cook lunch for the munchkins, lay them down for a nap and do some zumba!  Have a great day everyone!

Walking

Did a lot of walking today.  Went to walmart, target, and petsmart.  Boo had fun looking at the dogs in the doggy daycare at petsmart.  Going to Zumba later on, probably after boo and booger go to bed.

I will confess I was bad today.  I had a southwest chicken sandwich from mcdonalds with a small fry.

While at target, they had my Luna bars on sale, so I got a package of the chocolate cherry almond protein bars, with a free chocolate raspberry luna meal bar!

Debating on what to do for dinner, chinese sounds so (drag out the o) good right now.  Maybe broccoli chicken with steamed rice.  I will confess tomorrow what I had for dinner! :)

On a good note, I am really sore from doing zumba yesterday!  It is a good hurt though.

Whoo Hooo!!

Well back at it again.  I promise to not leave until I reach my goal!  It has been a great day.  I feel like a brand new person.  Did a 20 min Zumba workout on the PS3.  It is a small start, but hey it is a start.  I weighed in today at 194.  Not proud but I will get it down.

My measurements for the week are as follows:

Neck:  14.5
Waist:  36.25
Hips:  47.25
Thighs:  28.25

These measurements will be updated weekly along with pictures of my progress.  Going to do a Windsor Pilates workout this evening.  Also going to order a heart rate monitor so I can accurately know how I am doing.

My weight goal for the end of this month is to be at 190.  So cheers, here is to a great and productive week!

New Year..I am back!

Well this is week 2 of the new Me!  I now have Zumba  for the ps3 and let me tell you what, it will give you a butt kicking from you know where!  Funny thing is I like it!  I will be updating here every day with what I eat and how much excersize I do.
